Thanks to everyone involved with the Polar Bear Plunge 2010. This was our first year plunging and we totally exceeded all expectations. Thanks to everyone who sponsored the individual plungers on our team. We were able to raise over $6000 in support of the Special Olympics of Maryland. The weather certainly did not cooperate, but it truly made it a Polar Plunge. With snow falling and temperatures in the teens, our brave plungers made their way into the Chesapeake Bay. All those attending certainly had a blast and are looking forward to do it again next year bigger and better.
Thanks to our Fundraising Committe and everyone who attended our recent Bull Roast. Ravens Roost 102 was pround to raise $5,000 for the Matt Wade Cancer Fund for a local teenager battling Cancer. Also, we were able to donate $500 to Believe in Tomorrow. We already have Earleigh Heights Fire Hall reserved for Sat Dec 4th 2010 for our next Bull Roast.
